About this policy
This policy explains how TAXLITE LIMITED uses cookies and similar technologies on www.taxlite.co.uk.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies, including local storage and certain tracking tools, may also store or access information on your device.
For information about how we handle personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.
Our current approach
We have chosen not to install optional visitor analytics or advertising tracking at this stage.
This does not necessarily mean that the website uses no cookies or similar technologies. Some may be used to provide requested functionality, maintain security or remember privacy preferences.
The table below describes the technologies confirmed to be in use.
Technologies used on this website
This website does not set any cookies and does not use local storage.
It uses one item of session storage, which is deleted automatically when you close your browser tab:
| Technology/name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Consent or applicable exception |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3 (session storage) | Taxlite (this website) | Remembers your scroll position so the Back button returns you to the same place on a page | Until you close the browser tab | Strictly necessary for functionality you request |
Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. This does not store anything on your device, but your browser connects to Google to download the fonts. Our hosting provider may also use strictly necessary technical measures to deliver the site securely.
Essential functionality and security
Where a technology is strictly necessary to provide a service you request, it may be used without asking for consent.
We assess technologies according to their actual purpose and behaviour. A technology is not automatically exempt simply because it is described as a security or website-management tool.
Optional technologies
If we introduce technologies that require consent, we will ask for your consent before using them.
Where a preference tool is provided, you will be able to accept or reject optional technologies and change your choice later.
If we rely on another permitted exception, we will explain the relevant use and provide any required controls.
Third-party services
The website does not currently use embedded maps, videos, booking tools, chat widgets, CAPTCHA or other third-party content, apart from Google Fonts as described above.
Where third-party content stores or accesses information on your device, we will assess whether consent or another permitted basis is required before it loads.
Relevant providers and technologies will be identified in this policy.
Browser controls
You can use your browser settings to manage or delete cookies.
Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality. Browser settings may not control every form of storage or access technology.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the technologies used on the website change.
